A communications professional who loves telling stories and creating engaging content. And a self-proclaimed humorist.

I’m based in D.C., but my heart will always be in the Midwest.

I am a passionate and energetic multimedia journalist who is looking for a fast-paced and inspiring work environment. I have worked in multiple newsrooms ranging from college to professional, and have done freelance work as well.

Through my work ethic, communication skills, and passion for telling stories, I create a variety of content.

Briya Public Charter School

Through Briya's two-generation education model, families learn English and more together. After editing photos I take, I craft social media captions and schedule posts to maintain a social media presence. Other job duties include writing and producing videos for social media or the student website, editing and designing a monthly staff newsletter, managing orders for promotional and branded items, and sending monthly mail-merge thank yous to donors.

I work closely with the Outreach and Registration Team to promote Briya PCS to community members and encourage more people to enroll in one of our programs. I also work with the Advocacy and Research Team to help our students and staff understand different ways they can advocate for our students.

Dreaming Out Loud, Inc.

I assisted the Development Team with outreach to local and national businesses, organizations, and other nonprofits. I helped with database management, including database cleanup.

I managed daily social media postings across all social platforms, along with attending organizational weekly meetings. I was responsible for leading the weekly promotional strategy meetings to drive audience growth and engagement with our content.
